Welcome to Averra! As we are now a few weeks into the launch of our new brand, we would like to share a quick message from our CEO Jeremy Horton:
On behalf of our entire team, let me be the first to welcome you to Averra Packaging! No, we're not a new company - we've actually been doing business as Premier Plastics for over 35 years - but we are sporting a new name and a new look. The decision to rename and rebrand a business is a big one, so I thought it would be appropriate to talk about the rebrand and our new look.
The name "Averra" is a portmanteau of two Latin words: "Aver" which means "to avoid" and "vera" which means "truth". These words are meaningful to our business. One purpose of packaging is to avoid damage and contamination to products. And our company's core values are built around honesty and transparency - in other words, truth. So we love the new name because it has meaning to all of us here.
We also changed our modifier to "packaging" as a reflection of the ever-expanding capabilities and services we offer. We have long been more than just a plastics company, and this change is a nod to our past as well as a peek into our future.
While the furniture and carpet may look different today than they did yesterday, I want to emphasize that the foundation of our house remains the same. We continue to operate by the same principles you've come to expect from us: World-class customer service, open communication, transparency, responsiveness, creative solutions, and high-quality products at a great value.
